I have been working with Julie for over five years now. I was initially concerned to have a third party involved, and how the commission paid would impact the overall cost of the event .However, I have found that Julie is able to deliver MORE savings and value by finding us rebates or incentives from the hotel or CVB. She has helped negotiate the best concessions for us, delivering cost savings to the Association's bottom line. She has even negotiated AV costs for us, as well as golf and spa. The biggest value has come in contract negotiations, knowing we are assuming less risk as an organization, getting the most favorable terms, putting less money down for deposits, avoiding attrition damages, and if anything DOES go wrong, Julie will step in to handle it. Saving us time and headaches.
In talking with other groups who use an outside source, I know that Julie goes well beyond the typical sourcing & contracting work most third parties do. She monitors all due dates, helps manage the room block, communicates with the hotel on our behalf when we have asked her to, and she explains our options when we are unsure of next steps. She is an advocate for our organization. I won't plan future meetings without her.

I’ve known Julie for over 12 years, and over that time our professional relationship has grown into a friendship.
